Kelly Morrow About Picture Kelly Morrow is a registered dietitian with a master's degree in nutrition from Bastyr University, north of Seattle. Her background includes both clinical and culinary experience. Kelly has authored a number of articles and regularly serves as a public speaker and counselor on diet and nutrition.

Kelly practices at the Bastyr Center for Natural Health in the Wallingford neighborhood of Seattle.

Philosophy of Care: As a consultant, Kelly provides you with the most up-to-date information on nutrition so you can make educated choices regarding your health. You do not need to make confessions, nor will you be judged. Your health is viewed as a continuum where the choices you make either build health or accelerate its decline. Kelly will work with you to help you achieve your greatest health potential.

Having received training in both holistic and mainstream nutrition, Kelly is able to meet a wide spectrum of needs to suit any lifestyle—from a macrobiotic vegan with food allergies, to a person who wants to make healthy choices at fast food restaurants.

Kelly practices nutrition care for the whole family and has experience with food allergies, gluten intolerance, weight loss, blood sugar regulation, heart disease, kidney disease, mental health, cancer, pregnancy, gestational diabetes, and infant and childhood feeding.

Clinical and Teaching Experience: In addition to working in private practice, Kelly has worked at Evergreen Hospital in the Cancer Center, Parkinson's Center and Community Health Promotions. Kelly is a core faculty member in the School of Nutrition and Exercise Science at Bastyr University and the a clinical supervisor at the Bastyr Center for Natural Health. She teaches nutritional supplementation, maternal and infant nutrition, and nutrition assessment and therapy in both the graduate and undergraduate programs.

Culinary experience: Kelly completed a three part intensive whole foods cooking certificate program through the School of Natural Cookery. She has assisted and taught cooking classes to all ages and is able to help clients modify recipes and create menu plans.

Public Speaking and Writing: Kelly has given a number of lectures on nutrition-related topics to lay audiences, corporate groups and healthcare professionals. She was a regular contributor to the Wellness Works Newsletter at Evergreen Hospital and is a current nutrition contributor to the PKD Progress, the national newsletter of the PKD Foundation for research in Polycystic Kidney Disease. Kelly frequently is quoted in a variety of magazines and has also had articles published in the Seattle Post Intelligencer and Bastyr Magazine.
